SENIOR SPOTLIGHT

Asma A.

Years Attending BSO: 5

Favorite Food: Sushi

Favorite Color: Pink

Pets: I have one pet, a cute cat named Mariam.

Hobbies: Above all, I like to read, write, and do art, but I also like baking, cooking, and watching TV shows with my family.

Favorite Season: I love all the seasons, but I love summer the most - it's the best time to try new things and enjoy the outdoors.

Favorite Place You've Traveled: California, for sure.

Bucket List: I don't really have a bucket list - just trying to live life at its fullest, everyday.

What I will remember most about my senior year of high school: The good things, I hope!

Favorite book, author, movie, musician, etc.: I couldn't choose a favorite book if I tried, but I do have a few favorite authors; Stephen King, Marissa Meyers, and Louisa May Alcott. My favorite movies are the Marvel movies.

Is there anything else you would like to say or share: It's thanks to my Mom that I've gotten this far, so - to her - thank you!

Accomplishment I am most proud of: A forthcoming publication of a flash fiction piece I wrote. It will be the first time I've published fiction!

Favorite Food: Pancakes

Favorite Color: Blue

Pets: Snake - I have three dogs, Peyton- german shorthaired lab, Cheli- yellow lab, and Bailey- silver lab!

Hobbies: I like to ski, camp, travel, and hang out with friends and family!

Favorite Season: My favorite season is summer! I love being able to camp and hang out at the lake!

Favorite Place You've Traveled: My favorite place I have traveled to is either London or Paris!

Bucket List: I want to go to all seven continents!

What I will remember most about my senior year of high school: What I will remember most about my senior year is that my hard work is paying off. I've been looking forward to college for a long time, so it's exciting to see everything come together!

Favorite book, author, movie, musician, etc.: My favorite movie is Winter Soldier!

Favorite Sport: My favorite sport is skiing!

Is there anything else you would like to say or share: Thank you to all the teachers who helped me through the years! :)

Accomplishment I am most proud of: I am most proud of the hard work I have put into my school work and grades this year, and I am proud of getting into my top college!

Years Attending BSO: 8

Favorite Food: I really love pizza rolls or Taco Bell!

Favorite Color: Green

Pets: I have a ferret named Dobby, a mini horse named lightning, a rabbit named Loki, two cats named Grumpy and Christopher, and a dog named Riley.

Hobbies: I love baking, mostly cakes. I also do 4H, in the past I showed market swine, market beef, and rabbits.

Favorite Season: I would say Winter because it's nice and cold and I love the snow.

Bucket List: I really want to go to San Diego comic con and meet the actors of my favorite fandoms.

What I will remember most about my senior year of high school: I will remember how fast it went. I think this school year flew by faster than my previous years.

Favorite book, author, movie, musician, etc.: My favorite book is Harry Potter and the prisoner of Azkaban, I don't have a favorite Author but my favorite TV show is Supernatural, my favorite movie is Thor Ragnarok, and my favorite musician/band is one Direction.

Accomplishment I am most proud of: Having an amazing best friend who is always there for me.

Favorite Food: Spaghetti with meatballs in tomato sauce and parmesan.

Favorite Color: Green

Pets: I have one long hair dachshund called Brownie.

Hobbies: My favorite hobby is video editing.

Favorite Season: My favorite season is fall because it's warm and pretty!

Favorite Place: The favorite place I have travelled to is Torreón, Mexico because of the people there.

Bucket List: Travel around the world to get to know people and their different culture.

What I will remember most about my senior year of high school: I will remember that it went faster than I thought.

Favorite book, author, movie, musician, etc.: My favorite movie is "The Dark Knight." My favorite book is "The Great Gatsby." My favorite musician is Frank Sinatra.

Favorite Sport: My favorite sport to watch is football and to play is soccer.

Is there anything else you would like to say or share? I want to thank the teachers and staff for helping me along these 13 years, especially Mrs. Bononato for her help and care.

Accomplishment I am most proud of: I am proud of finishing high school and at the same time be able to accomplish a lot of things this last year during the pandemic.
