November InterestEd

Our November InterestEd sessions were a huge success!  Students had the opportunity to play games, do charades, go on virtual field trips, make elephant toothpaste, make hot cocoa cups and much more!

Student Spotlight: Rylee H.

Student Spotlight: 4th Grader Rylee H.

Rylee is a very hard worker when it comes to everything she pours her heart in. Ever since Rylee was 2yrs old she has dreamed of being a horse trainer as well as a barrel racer. Rylee was able to participate in a pageant showing her horse abilities as well as giving a speech on why she has chosen to be part of such an amazing opportunity. We know Rylee will do great things! This is Rylee and her horse, America.

Damian is a great mountain and dirt biker, who espcially loves the jumps at  Crown Mountain Park. Keep riding Damian!

Mason M won three buckles this passed summer, including two buckles with his horse Fooler. Mason just started roping this summer!

Student Spotlight: Eric M.

Branson School Online is home to amazing students who are involved in a variety of exciting activities. 

Student Spotlight: 10th Grader Eric M.

Eric spent his summer at camp Golden Bell in Divide, Colorado, volunteering with the camps and anything needed. He is very active in his church Eastborough Nazarene and is currently fundraising with the youth group to go to the big youth conference in Florida this summer.

 

Student Spotlight: Amalia R.

Branson School Online is home to amazing students who are involved in a variety of exciting activities. 

Student Spotlight: 5th Grader Amalia R.

Amalia R is a talented 5th grade student.  Her passion since early childhood is art.  Mom and dad knew that she loved to draw, but never could imagine that she'd become this good in her drawings.  Today Amalia's art makes our house feel complete as it decorates many walls and many family members enjoy receiving her paintings as their gift.  Besides art,  Amalia is very interested in embroidery crafts. She also goes to music school and is learning how to play piano.  Amalia also loves outdoor activities such as kayaking and ATV riding.

Mason won a check with his team roping partner at his very first Colorado State Junior Rodeo a few weekends ago!

Student Spotlight: Cody J

 

Branson School Online is home to amazing students who are involved in a variety of exciting activities. 

Student Spotlight: Senior Cody J.

Cody is an outgoing, smart, hard working kid.  He has competed in 4h for the last 12 years, showing cattle, pigs, sheep, goats, and even a turkey. He currently holds the position of the 4h club president.  He has built many projects that have also competed at both county and 4h levels.  He has excelled in shooting sports, not only in 4h, but at other competitions as well.

Cody is also an exceptional baseball player.  He plays short stop, pitcher, and catcher.  His hitting average is .432.  Last season he made 1st team all district.  

Cody has done all this while holding a full time summer job, attending Branson School online,  and helping us on the farm with field work, cattle, and training horses. 

Keep working hard Cody!  We are so proud of you!

Pets: King Charles Cavalier Spaniel (Daisy)

Hobbies: Anything outside and active, interior design, and watching my daughter golf

What do you love about teaching? It brings me great joy to help students grow their love of learning 

What do you love about teaching with Branson? All of the families and staff have been so welcoming and friendly! I love helping students reach their educational goals in a non-traditional setting. 

Favorite season? Why? Fall- I love the cool crisp mornings and evenings.

Favorite place you have traveled to? Hilton Head Island in South Carolina 

# 1 item on your bucket list: Take my daughter to Paris 

Favorite book: Bible 

Favorite sport: Golf and tennis, but my love for pickle ball is growing

Anything else you’d like to share: I’m so excited to be at Branson!!!
