SENIOR SPOTLIGHT

Skye F.

Years Attending BSO: 1

Favorite Food: Chicken Noodle Soup

Favorite Color: Difficult...probably dark blue-grey with a hint of purple. Very specific, I know.

Pets: My family has a dog called Zulu and four horses called Zanzibar, Banner, Spinny, and Mara. My horse is Mara. My twin sister also has a cat called Midori.

Hobbies: I like to read, write, and learn about psychology.

Favorite Season: I like autumn because the air is so crisp and cool, and I know that the snow is coming.

Favorite Place: My favorite place I have travel to is New Zealand.

Bucket List: The most important item I have on my bucket list is to get my master in counseling, on a more fun note though, I would like to travel to every continent (yes, including Antarctica).

Favorite book, author, movie, musician, etc.: I love Redeeming Love, that's probably my favorite book. Right now, I'd say that my favorite author is Robert Jordan, but that might just be because I'm in the middle of reading a fifteen book series by him and haven't read many other authors in about nine months. My favorite movie is probably Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, although it swaps between all three of the Lord of the Rings movies depending on the day. I don't really know many musicians, I generally just listen to the songs that I like and don't pay much attention to the artist. Toby Keith is great though.

Favorite Sport: Track and Field 

Accomplishment I am most proud of: Becoming the person I am today.

What will you remember most about your senior year of high school? I will remember my friends from my senior year of high school. I have made some great new ones as well as continued to grow the ones I already have.

Favorite Food: Pollo Tinga Tacos

Favorite Color: Prussian blue

Pets: I have one black pug, her name is Bella.

Hobbies: I love to ski the resort and the backcountry! And in the summer and fall, mountain bike!!

Favorite Season: My favorite season is Winter because it makes Colorado so gorgeous, and there's so much to do!

Favorite Place: Hawaii!

Bucket List: To mountaineer in Switzerland!

Favorite book, author, movie, musician, etc.: My favorite movie is The Secret Life of Walter Mitty.

Favorite Sport: Skiing!

Accomplishment I am most proud of: Rafting the Grand Canyon for 21 days, travelling by myself.

What will you remember most about your senior year of high school? The flexible schedule and how much fun I had this winter.

Favorite Food: Steak and potatoes

Favorite Color: Turquoise 

Pets: As far as household pets go I have one dog and her name is Dally, she is a mini aussie. I also have 9 horses as well.

Hobbies: I really enjoy roping along with anything that has to do with DIY projects.

Favorite Season: My favorite season is spring because everything comes back to life, as well as the weather is perfect.

Favorite Place: My favorite place that I have traveled to is Alaska.

Bucket List: The most important item on my bucket list would be to travel to another country.

Favorite book, author, movie, musician, etc.: I don't really read, but my favorite movie so far is the new movie Uncharted, and my favorite musician is Chancey Williams.

Favorite Sport: My favorite sport would be rodeo.

Accomplishment I am most proud of: I am most proud of my academic accomplishment of finishing high school, as well as some of my rodeo accomplishments.

What will you remember most about your senior year of high school? I will remember that is was probably one of the hardest years of high school, but there were so many teachers that helped me out, and I got through it.

Favorite Food: Mexican Food

Favorite Color: Turquoise 

Pets: I have 9 horses and one dog. Here name is Dally.

Hobbies: I like to rope and rodeo.

Favorite Season: I love fall. It is just so perfect. The chilly weather and the colors are beautiful.

Favorite Place: My favorite place I have traveled would be Alaska. I went up there for a rodeo and it was so pretty.

Bucket List: The most important item on my bucket list is breading mare and having a little colt.

Favorite book, author, movie, musician, etc.: My favorite movie is The Blind Side. Its just a good movie.

Favorite Sport: My favorite sport is Rodeo.

Accomplishment I am most proud of: I am most proud of how far I have come with my horsemanship and how far it has taken me.

What will you remember most about your senior year of high school? I will remember the amount of support and great friends that I have been blessed with.

SENIOR SPOTLIGHT

Michael U.

Years Attending BSO: 4

Favorite Food: Chinese food is really good, however I don't know the names of any specific dishes, so let's just say hamburger and french fries.

Favorite Color: Green has my favorite shade, however, blue has more shades that I like. So, either green or blue. Seafoam is also really pretty.

Pets: I have a Pekingese dog, named Toody, and two cats, one whose a shorthaired black and white cat named Oreo, and another long-haired white cat named Ezma (like from Emperor's New Grove), however, they're outside cats and they're not really mine they kind of just hang about.

Hobbies: Playing piano, woodworking, occasional metal working, and video games are fun.

Favorite Season: Fall; the weather is really nice, and watching the colors of the vegetation change is really beautiful.

Favorite Place: A private fishing spot up in Wyoming, near Cheyenne. It's really isolated and you feel alone, separated from the stress and troubles of typical life.

Bucket List: I want to see the Aurora Borealis, preferably in Iceland. Or even to go to Switzerland.

Favorite book, author, movie, musician, etc.: My favorite book would Baptism of Fire, from The Witcher series, by Andrzej Sapkowski. Any work By Cormac McCarthy is also fantastic, I have been enjoying reading No Country for Old Men. My favorite movie would be Brother Bear. As for Musicians: I like Coldplay.

Favorite Sport: I haven't ever participated in any sports really, however baseball and hockey has always seemed fun.

Accomplishment I am most proud of: Probably the fact that I've been able to take college courses while in high school, and do good in them. College has always seemed so far away and the fact that I've had the opportunity to partake makes me somewhat proud of myself.

What will you remember most about your senior year of high school? Probably just how supportive my teachers, family, friends, and girlfriend have been of me. I believe that the graduation ceremony in May should be pretty memorable also :)

Favorite Food: Sushi

Favorite Color: Pink

Pets: I have 6 dogs; GSXR (like jixser), Paris, Jack, Nani, Diamond, and Jewel

Hobbies: I like car racing and hiking. 

Favorite Season: I love summer because I can travel and spend all of my time enjoying the outdoors

Favorite Place: Jamaica or Haiti! I learned so much at both and was able to meet so many amazing people

Bucket List: At the top of my bucket list is visiting Paris!

Favorite book, author, movie, musician, etc.: My favorite artist of all time is Post Malone.

Favorite Sport: Racing

Accomplishment I am most proud of: I’m proud of making it through everything I’ve endured and being able to tell my story.
