Student Spotlight: Christianna and Emily S.
Branson School Online is home to amazing students who are involved in a variety of exciting activities.
Student Spotlight: Christianna and Emily S.
Christianna has been taking Irish Dance lessons since 2nd grade. She's competed internationally and has qualified multiple times to compete at the Irish Dance World Championships. She recalled at her last Worlds, which places her in the top 0.5% of dancers internationally! She recently placed 8th place in the United States in her age group. She loves dance and loves the friendships that she has been able to enjoy at dance. Christianna also loves doing art, especially canvas painting.
Emily started dancing when she was 4. She is the current regional champion for her age group, and recently placed 2nd in the United States for her age group! Emily loves getting to dance with her friends and traveling to new places so she can learn about the world. Emily also loves reading and doing taekwondo.
Recently, both girls placed first at Oireachtas Irish Dance Competition! Christi is now the U16 Regional Champ and Emily is the U10 Regional Champ.
Both girls will travel to Belfast, Northern Ireland in April to compete at the World Championships.
Congratulations Christianna and Emily! We are cheering you on and we can't wait to hear about the World Championships!
